The celebrity haute couture fashion wrap we made for Oprah Winfrey and the BIG mystery as to if it ever got to her!

So here is the big celebrity haute couture j-na mystery that is yet to be uncovered as the truth of the $3,000 gifted fashion wrap is yet to be revealed!

About a year and a half ago after a good cry over yet another riveting breakthrough Oprah show on a subject that touched so close to my heart on one of my biggest traumatic childhood events, I decided to make Oprah a haute couture fashion wrap as a gift!

Of course I know the women has practically everything, but I know she didn't have anything close to one of my exclusive hand-made celebrity haute couture creations!

So after 25 painstaking hours designing and hand-knitting the wrap in her favorite colors in sea foam and other greens, grey, and various purples, I started to embed real emerald gemstone beads forming several giant "O's" for Oprah, matching hand-dyed real pearls, and gold beads into the fashion wrap.

Needless to say it was as Grand as her highness herself, totally exclusive never to be repeated design, everything haute couture should be. So exclusive that we did not even photograph the design for promotional purposes, we just took a shot of just some of the hand-dyed pearl adornments!

Here is where it gets interesting! How do we give the gift to her?

Plan A

One of our clients Mrs. Halligan was good friends with Oprah's producer, so, our client did us the favor of bringing it to the producer, that will remain nameless, but he refused to take it to her saying that, "As a member of Oprah's staff we cannot approach Oprah or address her unless she approaches or directly address us." A true centuries old sign of queenly royal court etiquette of course!

Plan B

We send it in the mail to the studio address. "No way, it's just to valuable dripping with the real emeralds to risk that, it would never get to her."

Plan C

One of our best Hair and Makeup artists in Chicago that was on the Oprah show, Victoria King, promoting her inner city youth charity, does the hair for Oprah's personal assistant that claimed that she could get it to her no problem! YEY! I thought we can finally get our gift to her!

So we give it to Victoria who then gives it to the personal assistant at the next hair appointment and the result!:

NOTHING!

Everyone told us that at the very least you get a formal thank you letter from her staff. I don't care who you are, as cold as it get's in Chicago in the winter, who wouldn't appreciate such a warm and extravagant custom fashion wrap in your favorite colors with precious gemstone embelishments? I mean from what I know about Oprah and what she is all about, that question just blows my mind!

Now what am I to think of all of this?
